Snapchat Kicks Off 2022 With Lengthy Outage

According to real-time outage tracking website Downdetector, Snapchat first went down at 4:43 pm EST. Complaints started pouring in large numbers within minutes with users unable to send or receive snaps and the app crashing every time they fired it up.

The Snapchat Support team has tweeted that they're aware of the "troubles with the app" and are trying to fix the same. And it is suggested that you lot stay logged into the app equally the app may crash if you try to log in right now (many users have reported this issue). The official tweet is attached underneath:

Information technology's reassuring that the company is working to gear up the outage problem with Snapchat, merely it is not alone to face outage problems due to New Year's Eve surge in traffic. Fifty-fifty WhatsApp, went under due to the massive influx of messages welcoming 2018. The app managed to resume normal service soon later, however, no such luck for Snapchat die-hards.
